ATTENTION QUILTERS!
NYQuilts! is extending to your guild or non-profit organization an opportunity
to display your donation quilt and sell raffle tickets and other fund raising
items (pins, tote bags). This is also an opportunity to display information
about your guild - show cards, membership forms, community service endeavors
etc. Table, chairs and hanging rack will be provided.
Raffle quilt display times are:
FRIDAY, sneak preview, 7-9 p.m. AND
SATURDAY, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
SUNDAY, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
To ensure fairness in this display opportunity, to provide information
for the program book and insurance coverage, the enclosed Quilt Registration
Form must be completed as stipulated in instructions. No matter what date(s)
are assigned, the quilt must be sent to Betsy Bitner according to information
you will receive after registration. All quilts must have a 4 -
6" hanging sleeve. Raffle quilts need not be completed but must be
well enough along to be hung without problem.
There is no charge for the display space, but anyone coming to represent your guild or organization must pay the $5 quilt show admission fee. Someone from your organization must be at your space to represent you during your assigned time. (You can get free passes to use for your workers by putting NYQuilts! info in your organization's newsletter. See below) Display time will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please make this available to organizations using quilts for fund
raising.
FREE PASSES - If your organization puts NYQuilts! show dates,
and at least the information shown below, you can get two free passes to
the show. Send us a copy each time you print it, postmarked by May 1 to
PO Box 93, Brainard, NY 12024-0093. This is a great way to get your volunteer
quilt "sitters" into the show for free!
