Yes, Spring finally came to Brainard. First a few summery days, then some very dry days, and now a couple rather grey days. Things have moved past the first few blushes of red and pink and lime green to a stronger green and the trees are in bloom.

For the first time in my life I saw a wild bear, and yesterday I saw another. The reports say that the dry conditions have forced the bears to move around in search of food.
