| I've gone with a very simple design that is contrasted by the symbolic representations of a child, abuse, society, and the healing processes. Every piece of this quilt has multiple meanings, from the fabric crayon picture blocks, to the machine applique silhouettes and the simple vertical lines of the quilting. Even the back art is riddled with symbols. I leave final interpretation to the individual viewer. | |
