Heart And Hands

Detail

My quilt starts with life. From there, we have the growing up years and some calm times. Even in the growing up years, the knowledge of abuse is known. It takes years, but the anger is always there. Then gradual progression into depression. Even in depression, light shows up. Just because you think you are seeing out of the fog, there are edges of depression and turmoil that will always be close.

The best thing I can say, is that someone needs to reach out to the abused child, hold their hand and believe what the child has to say. Belief in the abused child helps start the healing process. Remember to have belief within the heart and encircle the child with your hands.
