Most of the time a child who is abused feels trapped. Trapped by the secrecy. Trapped by the shame. Trapped by the love (s)he feels for the abuser. In this quilt I attempted to show the trapped child and a way out of the trap. Breaking the silence, speaking up, asking for help this can be the way out of the trap, the way to find those loving arms to hold you. | |
